Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent of Educational Services, the Director of Continuous Improvement and Accountability provides leadership and oversight in a variety of areas within the Curriulum and Instruction Department, including instructional materials adoption, curriculum development, and assessment administration. The position involves coordinating the development of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP), supporting school sites with accreditation and accountability processes, and overseeing alternative education programs. Additionally, the Director ensures compliance with state and federal requirements, supervises student information systems, and facilitates initiatives such as Career Technical Education (CTE) and Proposition 28 funding. The position also includes responsibilities related to student attendance, social-emotional learning, and serving as the district’s liaison for homeless and foster youth.

QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred California Single Subject Teaching Credential California Administrative Credential Required Minimum of 5 years high school leadership experience including focus on curriculum, instruction, assessment, and accountability
