Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Executive Director of Special Education or Assistant Superintendent of SELPA, provide training, instructional activities and treatment services to enhance orientation and mobility skills and independence among visually impaired students (Birth-22); observe, assess and develop and implement instructional, training and remedial plans, strategies and activities in response to student orientation and mobility needs.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to a bachelor's degree with coursework related to Orientation and Mobility, Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential in Orientation and Mobility, and one year of experience providing orientation and mobility instructional and enhancement services to visually impaired students aged birth to 22 years. A Master’s Degree is preferred. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver’s license.

- Credential Copy (Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorized in Orientation and Mobility )

- Letter(s) of Recommendation (3 letters of recommendation dated within the last 18 months ** [LETTERS MUST BE DATED] **)
