Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced teachers to serve adult learners of all different skill levels and learning styles. A strong candidate brings training and experience teaching Digital Literacy (computers), and a flexibility to teach other courses as needed. ****Candidates will be considered for a position located at our Family First Charter School - Hawthorne school site.**** While the current opening is located at one of our community-based school sites, we also have three correctional facility-based school sites, two in downtown LA and one in Lynwood. All teachers who apply to work in our Organization should be open to traveling between school sites, and willing to teach inside the jails as this is an important part of our school's mission.

Requirements / Qualifications

Requirements to be considered for the Digital Literacy CTE Teacher position: -A valid California Teaching Credential in the following categories: Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, or Single Subject Teaching Credential with a supplementary authorization in Computer Science; or Adult Education Teaching Credential, or Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credential with an authorization in Information and Communication Technologies, or other closely related industry sector. -English Language Learner Authorization -Bilingual preferred not required
