Requirements / Qualifications
The Vacancy: There is one seasonal position at Covina High School. This recruitment will also be used to fill future vacancies and substitute/temporary positions in this classification for up to six months. The Position: The role of the Varsity Head Coach – Cheer is to be responsible for coaching, character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in cheer.
Qualifications: Must have three years’ experience coaching high school or college level cheer and have CIF Certification Concussion in Sports Certification, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certification, Confirmation of TB Clearance, and current CPR/First Aid certification. No online CPR/First Aid certificates will be accepted.
