Requirements / Qualifications

-Valid Single Subject CA Credential: Music -Valid Single Subject CA Credential: Physical Education OR willingness to complete the necessary requirements to obtain a Valid California Physical Education Teacher Credential. (Employment will be contingent upon proof of starting the steps to obtain the California Physical Education Teacher Credential.) -English Learner Authorization

Copy of your credential must include DETAILED credential information including the document number, authorization code, authorization description, issue date and expiration date. You can obtain a copy or a screen shot from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing website. Only provide a detailed copy of your credential. “SUITABLE FOR FRAMING” VERSIONS AND EXPIRED COPIES OF YOUR CREDENTIAL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

  • Copy of Transcript (ALL Undergraduate AND Graduate coursework)
  • Credential Copy (DETAILED - NON EXPIRED copy from CTC as described above)
  • English Learner Authorization (If your EL is embedded in your credential, upload your detailed credential to satisfy this requirement)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two (2) letters of recommendation - must be signed and dated within the last 24 months. Only wet signatures and e-signatures will be accepted; names typed out in a stylized font will not be accepted as a signature. Letters from relatives are not acceptable.))
