Job Summary
The job of Executive Assistant – Personnel/Negotiations was established for the purpose/s of providing a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel Services; conveying information regarding department functions and procedures; ensuring efficient operation of support functions; and coordinating assigned projects and activities. The job is distinguished from similar jobs by the following characteristics: Incumbents in the position provide administrative support for district negotiations and are responsible for the agenda and minutes for the governing board in the absence of the Executive Assistant – Superintendent.
Requirements / Qualifications
Typing certificate (45 wpm) required by the date of pre-employment testing. Applicants must include three recent (6 months or less) keyboarding certificate when submitting their application. The pre-employment proficiency exam will be conducted for those applicants selected for consideration. For candidates selected for an interview, the process will include a demonstration of the practical application of the essential functions of the role. This assessment is designed to evaluate the candidate's ability to perform key responsibilities related to the position. In addition, the interview will follow a traditional question-and-answer format to further assess qualifications and experience.
