PRIMARY ROLE The Associate Athletic Trainer provides athletic training services to all student-athletes under the direction of the team physician and Head Athletic Trainer, or by written referral from a physician. An athletic trainer is an allied health professional who specializes in the prevention, assessment, and treatment of sports injuries. This position plays a vital role in supporting the physical health of athletes during their daily practices and games. This individual must demonstrate genuine empathy and an understanding of the needs and sensitivities of student-athletes, along with their parents, faculty, staff, and administrators.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE • Must be certified and in good standing with the Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic trainer • BLS/CPR Certification • Strong written and communication skills • Qualified applicants who are Catholic receive priority consideration.
