Job Summary
The Director of Transportation is a management level position within the business services division under the general direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Business Services. The incumbent exercises discretion in supervising the day-to-day activities of the District's transportation department. The Director of Transportation supervises and evaluates the transportation department staff. The Director of Transportation has regular visible contact with parents, the community, and staff. Supervise the operation and maintenance of the school bus system and other automotive equipment. Determine optimal bus routes for regular home-to-school transportation, special education transportation, and summer school transportation.
Requirements / Qualifications
MATERIALS REQUIRED: California Class B license with passenger endorsement with air brakes. Basic First Aid School Bus Driver Certificate Medical examination certificate DMV H6 printout
