Job Summary
Under direction, to perform a variety of responsible and specialized technical and clerical accounting duties involved in developing, processing, maintaining and reviewing accounting and financial records; to perform a variety of secretarial and clerical duties in support of the assigned office; to organize office activities and coordinate communications for the assigned program.

The current position available is full-time, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
Any combination equivalent to experience and training that would provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities would be qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge, skills and abilities would be: Three years of increasingly responsible experience in the maintenance of financial or statistical records (preferably including some experience in the specific area of assignment,) equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplemented by specialized training or course work in accounting, financial record keeping, or a related field, and ability to type or operate a keyboard at a level proficient for successful job performance. The District will determine the top candidates based solely on the information submitted on the application. The top-scoring candidates who pass the written test will be invited to the oral exam.
