Under the supervision of the assigned University Practicum Instructor, the Sr. Director of Child Welfare and Attendance, and the site preceptor, the Social Worker Intern is responsible for providing a full range of school-based mental health and social emotional services to assigned school sites.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A. Valid California internship credential with social worker authorization (PPS) or a letter from a college or university indicating eligibility in lieu of a credential B. Mus be currently enrolled in a graduate level Social Worker Program E. Bilingual English and Spanish preferred YOUR APPLICATION WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS: 1. Letter of introduction stating your qualifications and experiences related to the position for which you are applying 2. Current résumé. Important Note: Résumés will not be accepted in lieu of a completed EdJoin application. AB 2534 and the Work Experience sections must be completed. 3. Three letters of reference signed and dated within the past two years. One letter of reference must be from your current supervisor 4. Copy of intern credential or university intern eligibility letter 5. Copy of transcripts
