Job Summary The ideal candidate will be an experienced and accomplished middle school teacher who will teach 6th Grade Humanities, serve as an advisor, and participate in middle school activities that support the program. Classroom management and digital citizenship require close attention and instruction, and therefore experience teaching middle school is essential. Position Description: Applicants for this Humanities position will be able to teach both English and History courses. A background and interest in ancient history as well as middle grade literature is required. Qualified candidates should have at least three (3) years teaching experience, interest and experience in multi-disciplinary education, and the ability to connect with young people. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, and eager to bring innovative ideas to their curriculum. The candidate must demonstrate a natural ability and passion for collaborating with other teachers in planning and execution of courses.
