Job Summary

GENERAL DESCRIPTION Under the supervision and guidance of the Dublin High School Learning Center Coordinator(s), tutors individuals and small groups of high school students in core academic subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and World Languages to promote conceptual understanding and mastery of content; assists with assigned classwork and homework, reteaches academic material, edits drafts, and prepares students for tests and quizzes; assists students in developing effective study habits and test-taking skills.

Requirements / Qualifications

Graduation from high school with a diploma and currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program in a community college, college or university; or graduation from an accredited four-year institution. Minimum earned grades of “A” and “B” in the subject area(s) of tutoring.
