Natomas Unified School District is seeking a Principal to lead Leroy Greene Academy (LGA) starting in the 2025-26 school year.
Requirements / Qualifications
LGA is a rigorous academic charter school, operated by NUSD to serve students in 6th through 12th grades. LGA is a public school with the ability to operate differently than a traditional school. LGA Implements challenging academic programs and high-leverage systems that ensure all students are prepared for college. Students complete coursework in two innovative pathways--Visual Arts & Technology, and Business Entrepreneurship. LGA’s culture of achievement is defined by high expectations for academic performance and citizenship. LGA values diversity and connectedness, and believes that the strength of Lion PRIDE helps to create a rich educational experience focused on ensuring that all Lion students graduate as college ready. Education And Experience: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities could qualify someone for this position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Education: Equivalent to a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in education, education administration, social work or a related field.
Experience: Five years of responsible teaching experience, including two years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.
License or Certificate: Possession of an Administrative Credential issued by the State of California
