Job Description: We are looking for a compassionate and skilled BCBA to support our multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services within a school setting. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to create a positive and structured learning environment for students with diverse needs. Key Responsibilities: -Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs. -Provide ongoing consultation and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other staff on implementing ABA strategies effectively in the classroom. -Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other direct service providers, ensuring fidelity to treatment protocols. -Monitor and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes. -Collaborate with IEP teams to ensure alignment between behavioral goals and academic objectives. -Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on progress, address concerns, and foster partnerships in supporting student success. -Maintain accurate and detailed records, including progress reports, session notes, and compliance documentation. -Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and all applicable regulations.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field. Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB. Eligible for or currently hold a California license as a Behavior Analyst (required for practicing in California). Experience working in a school setting or with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), emotional/behavioral challenges, or developmental disabilities (preferred but not required for exceptional candidates). Strong understanding of ABA principles and experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans in educational environments. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team while managing multiple priorities. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
