HTH has evolved into an integrated network of 16 charter schools serving approximately 6,500 students in grades K-12 across four campuses. Job Summary
Under the direction of High Tech High’s Chief Learning Officer, the Director of College, Career, and Technical Education (CCTE) will oversee, direct, plan and organize the initiatives related to College and Career Readiness in High Tech High (HTH) schools. The Director of College, Career, and Technical Education will work with all 16 TK-12 HTH teachers and directors, industry, workforce agencies, higher education, and the California State Education department to enable all High Tech High schools to grow, expand, and enhance dual enrollment and articulation with community colleges, work-based learning and internships with industry partners, and TK-12 college, career technical education (CCTE) and postsecondary pathways for all students.
Requirements / Qualifications
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: - Bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited institution of higher learning required for this position - Masters degree in education or related field preferred - 5+years teaching experience in a public school preferred - Experience with CTE preferred LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATE: - California clear teaching credential preferred
