Job Summary

Garden Road Elementary School (GRES) is looking for a credentialed Extensive Support Needs (mod/severe) Special Education teacher. Requirements / Qualifications

Applicants must submit all required documents to be considered, including a valid teaching credential. If you are an intern eligible applicant, you may apply to this posting. CREDENTIALS REQUIRED: A valid California Education Specialist Instruction Credential - Moderate/Severe [ESN] or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching in a moderate/severe assignment.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: All required documents MUST be scanned and attached prior to submitting an application for this position. Incomplete applications will not be considered. 1. Applicants must have an English Language Learners (CLAD credential) in order to be considered for the position. 2. Copy of valid teaching credential (moderate/severe or other valid California teaching credential authorizing teaching in a moderate/severe assignment). 3. Copy of Transcript (Official transcripts are required upon hiring). 4. Current resume. 5. Letter of introduction, addressed to Charan Kirpalani, Director of Human Resources. 6. Three (3) letters of reference, signed/dated within the past 12 months. Applicants are encouraged to include at least one (1) letter of reference from a supervising or site administrator. Applicants who have never held a full-time position, are encouraged to have a letter of reference from a site administrator where they completed their student teaching. 7. For phone references, be sure to include the reference's most current cell phone number and email address. 8.
