Comments and Other Information
Definition: Under direction of the Administrator of Food & Nutrition Services and the Central Production Manager to lead and participate in the operation of central production kitchen or a school kitchen.
Desirable Education & Experience: An Associate of Arts/Science Degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of twenty semester units in quantity food preparation food service management, nutrition, sanitation safety and supervision; and three years of paid experience in large quantity institutional food preparation and service, including one year in a supervisory capacity; or two years of experience as a Food Service Cook/Manager, Food Service Lead I Elementary, and Food Service Lead II High School with Alhambra Unified School District.
