Requirements / Qualifications

* Valid CA Multiple Subject Teaching credential with English Language Authorization (ELA) or CLAD required. * Experience teaching elementary preferred. *For Transitional Kindergarten requirements - must meet one of the following: 1) Have a completed at least 34 credits in early childhood education, child development , or both. 2) Have a professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool-aged children that a local educational agency (LEA) deems comparable to 24 ECE credits. 3) Possess a Child Development Teacher Permit issued from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

*Transitional Kindergarten (TK) is the first year of a two-year kindergarten experience in California. Beginning August 2, 2025, All teachers teaching TK must have ,In addition to holding a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, meet one of the following requirements: 1) Have a completed at least 34 credits in early childhood education, child development , or both. 2) Have a professional experience in a classroom setting with preschool-aged children that a local educational agency (LEA) deems comparable to 24 ECE credits. 3) Possess a Child Development Teacher Permit issued from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

This position is for a 1.0 FTE Elementary School Teacher at Farallone View School District offers coverage for health, vision and dental plans for 185-day, prorated to FTE. District contribution for health benefits shall be equal to the annual cost of Kaiser medical employee only plus a monthly contribution of $100 towards Employee + one or full family.
