Job Summary
• Transport students as needed to and from school, athletic events, and field trips; load and unload students safely at designated stops. • Maintain the bus in a clean and orderly condition; inspect and report mechanical defects or malfunctions; sweep, clean, and refuel buses • Maintain appropriate student behavior on the bus; contact others concerning transportation problems and concerns • Prepare and maintain daily transportation activity records, including the number of students transported, mileage, and master route books, and record route issues • Perform related duties as assigned
Requirements / Qualifications
A valid California Commercial Driver License Class A or B with Endorsement P. A valid California Special Driver Certificate (School Bus) with no Certificate Restrictions. Licenses must be secured before employment
Valid CA Commercial Driver's License Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement HS Diploma/GED Equivalency H6 DMV Printout for the last 10 years Current Medical Examination Card California Special Driver Certificate
