INTERVIEW INFORMATION: Interviews are tentatively planned for the week of May 12, 2025. DEFINITION & SCOPE OF PRACTICE: Under the direction of the Director, Educational Services, the Career Technical Education (CTE) Specialist assists with establishing, strengthening, and leveraging partnerships with the private and public sectors including businesses, community groups, educational institutions, foundations, government agencies/officials and partner school districts, in order to provide high quality, innovative Career Technical Education programs and opportunities for students.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & TRAINING: • Required: An associate’s degree from an accredited college/university with a minimum of five years of experience in the field of Career Technical Education, career guidance, or similar vocation; OR a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university with a minimum of three years of experience in the field of Career Technical Education. • A master’s degree or higher is desirable. • Bilingual in English and Spanish is desirable. • A valid California Driver’s License issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles is required in order to travel to and from off-site facilities and locations to meet with students, parents, employers, school partners, and other community agencies as needed.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES: A valid California Class C Driver’s License, the ability to maintain insurability status, and access to personal and reliable transportation are required.
