St. Pius X- St. Matthias Academic is seeking a full-time Theology instructor who can teach all levels of Theology coursework, grades 9-12. St. Pius X - St. Matthias Academy, located in Downey, California, offers a Catholic university experience for teenagers. We believe that a college education is a right rather than a privilege. Instructional staff members serve the school’s mission by facilitating daily meaningful learning experiences according to the school’s professional standards in planning, subject matter competency, curriculum & instruction, assessment, and professional development centered on the mission of the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy.
Requirements / Qualifications
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Theology or related subject is required. Practicing Roman Catholic is required. Master’s degree preferred. Three years of teaching high school students in the subject area is preferred.
