St. Jude the Apostle School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 4th Grade Teacher to join our warm and welcoming staff. Located in the beautiful community of Westlake Village, our K-8 Catholic school is known for its supportive environment and collaborative team. We are committed to providing a high-quality Catholic education that fosters academic excellence and spiritual development. The 4th Grade Teacher will be responsible for teaching all core subjects and will work closely with colleagues, parents, and the school principal to support student learning and school initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a Master’s degree and/or California teaching credential preferred. We value passion for teaching and a commitment to the values of a Catholic education. Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
  • Master’s degree and/or California teaching credential preferred.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of a Catholic education.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach all core subject areas including Math, Science, English Language Arts, and Social Studies.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the academic and personal growth of each student.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the school principal to support student learning and school initiatives.
  • Participate in school events, professional development, and additional duties as designated by the school principal.
