CalWest’s partner school in the Greater San Francisco area seeks a 4th Grade Teacher to start on August 19, 2025.

Qualifications

• Teaching Credential 
• 2 or more years of experience leading an Elementary School level classroom 
• Proven ability to teach and support children one on one, in small groups, and in a full-class unit 
• Experience planning and implementing dynamic classroom lessons that are standards-based and incorporate hands-on, project-based, collaborative, and experiential learning, as well as higher-level thinking skills such as logical reasoning, critical thinking, and problem-solving 
• Ability to differentiate instruction based on diverse learning styles, interests, and abilities 
• An understanding of the academic, social, emotional, and developmental needs of elementary-aged students 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to interact positively and effectively with students, parents, faculty, and staff
