Brief Description: The job of “Food Service Worker I” is done for the purpose/s of preparing and distributing food items for consumption by students and school personnel and maintaining facilities in sanitary condition.
Requirements / Qualifications
Valid Driver’s License; Proof of Insurance if driving is required; Passing score on District Proficiency test; Fingerprint and T.B. clearance and pre-employment physical are required before beginning work.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds daily; maintain facilities in a sanitary condition; load/unload food items, supplies, and equipment; make deliveries in district vehicle; Ability to work outdoors in extreme hot and cold temperatures, medium to heavy lifting required; Ability to carry out oral and written directions; work cooperatively with those contacted during work.
