Requirements / Qualifications
Experience: Job related experience within specialized field is required. Education: Targeted, job related education with study in job-related area. Equivalency: Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school or G.E.D. equivalent. A current certificate in Translating and Interpreting in School Environment issued by an accredited College or University or the equivalent is preferred AND three (3) years of increasingly responsible office administrative experience involving written and oral English to Spanish translation and interpretation. TYPING TEST of 45 wpm must be attached to the application to be considered. You can obtain a free 3-5 minute typing test from the internet.
Test Information: The testing may consist of a minimum of two or more parts; written multiple choice examination(s) and/or verbal performance examinations. Applicants must pass the first test to be invited/considered for the second exercise. Applicants will be notified if they meet the minimum qualification required to take the written examination. Please allow at least two (2) or more hours for the written multiple-choice examination.
