Job Summary
The Math Specialist is responsible for providing leadership and support to improve math instruction and student outcomes in grades Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade at their school site. This position collaborates with teachers, administrators, and district leaders to enhance the effectiveness of math curriculum, instructional strategies, and assessment practices. The Math Specialist will have an understanding of state standards, evidence-based instructional strategies, and Montessori pedagogy. They will assist in developing and delivering professional development, facilitating data-driven decision-making, coaching and supporting teachers and students in Tier 1-2, teaching intervention in small groups and modeling lessons for educators, and ensuring the successful implementation of math instruction at the school site level.

Qualifications for this position include a Multiple Subject (Single subject Math preferred).
