Miller Creek School District invites creative and innovative educational leaders to apply for the position of Elementary Principal. Position Description: This person will work with a dynamic governance and leadership team, staff and parent community to advance the District’s mission and strategic goals around high levels of learning for all students. The successful candidate will provide leadership and management for the overall school operation to include the coordination, supervision and evaluation of all instructional programs, instructional technology, staff, and fiscal operations. The Principal is responsible for the safe and orderly learning environment of all students; and communicates and builds positive relationships with the school community. The Principal serves as an integral and contributing member of the District leadership team; and carries out other leadership and management duties as assigned. Salary is competitive, based on experience, and includes a benefits package. Miller Creek School District is a transitional transitional kinder through eighth grade public school district, located in Marin County, California serving the San Rafael neighborhoods of Terra Linda, Marinwood and Lucas Valley. The District includes three TK-5 elementary schools and one 6-8 middle school. All schools are ranked at the highest statewide levels and each individual school features its own unique community. The District provides an excellent public education for approximately 1,800 students.
