About the Employer
The Goleta Union School District (GUSD) serves approximately 3,384 students in preschool through sixth grade across nine elementary schools. All schools offer transitional kindergarten and strong support services, including special education and mental health, in addition to after-school care at all nine schools supporting approximately 1,500 students. GUSD offers embedded programs to address specific needs of gifted students and English Learners across the district. Each school maintains a 1.0–1.5 full time positions to support intervention needs for all students. Hours are 8:00am to 3:00pm for a total of 6.5 hours per day with 1/2 hour unpaid lunch. El Camino School Bilingual Preferred Under the direction of an assigned administrator in support of certificated staff, supervises a variety of student activities (e.g., Literacy, Language Development, Mathematics) and monitors students’ behavior at school; assists in the instruction and supervision of students in all core curriculum and elective programs; performs a variety of routine clerical duties in support of assigned students.
