America’s Finest Charter School is seeking a highly qualified and fully credentialed administrator with experience as a teacher, TK-8 or 9-12 Administrator, or charter school leader to serve as the Executive Director. Anticipated start date is July 1, 2025, or sooner if possible. Momni Café, LLC Strategic Consulting has been engaged as the consultant in the search for outstanding candidates. The consultant will assist the board in identifying and screening candidates. Candidates will demonstrate the following characteristics: A COLLABORATIVE LEADER with a proven ability to build trust, promote a positive climate, and foster productive, respectful relationships: The leadership style and performance record of the candidate must demonstrate strong relationship skills with all school stakeholders, including staff, parents, students, and governing board. He/she will have high standards and expectations, be accountable, and be a visible, active participant in the school community. The leader's track record will demonstrate an ability to support, mentor, and inspire others' capabilities and performance. The future Executive Director will be open to and inclusive of new ideas, and can be described as a compassionate, inspiring and effective leader able to make difficult decisions in a timely and thoughtful manner. AN EXCELLENT COMMUNICATOR who recognizes the partnership of staff and community as the voice of the school: The successful candidate will be an honest leader who is accessible, possesses exceptional listening skills, and can communicate clearly with all stakeholders both verbally and in writing. He/she will be a team member who considers the ideas of others, is approachable by all, and practices an open door policy. Names of applicants will be held in strict confidence whenever possible, however, AFCS complies with the California Public Records Act. In the final process, one or more members of the Board of Directors may visit the district or school where the candidate is employed, but will not proceed without the knowledge and consent of the candidate.
