Requirements / Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Provide assessment and counseling to K-12th grade students 2. Provide consultation to parents, caregivers, teachers, and administrators at the school site 3. Perform assessment and individual counseling for a minimum of six children and provide consultation to parents and teachers 4. Co-lead groups to help students with social skills, family transitions, and other social and emotional arenas 5. Help develop strategies with staff about student behaviors 6. Attend weekly individual and group supervision 7. Perform other duties as assigned 8. Maintains records and completes required documentation 9. Participates in the school’s wellness center 10. Attends counselor meetings 11. Holds a caseload of students ranging from mild to moderate emotional needs and provides therapeutic interventions, treatment planning, and needed resources. 12. Provides case management as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be enrolled in a Masters in Social Work (Clinical Track), Marriage and Family Therapy or Clinical Counseling Master's level program and practicum class. PLEASE SUBMIT THE FOLLOWING ALONG WITH YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION:
