Job Summary

NUSD is seeking a Coordinator III for the Ed Services team to oversee goals and initiatives including but not limited to: Build, Sustain, and Monitor a Districtwide Culture of Equity and Inclusion -Develop and implement evidence-based strategies as part of the Equity in Excellence (E2) Team -Support implementation and monitoring of restorative practices in schools -Provide professional learning opportunities to support department goals -Facilitate districtwide E2 conversations and initiatives -Lead E2 Change Management Work Group -Help support Community & External Partnerships -Coordinate Literacy Nights -Support implementation of evidence-based practices on sites and in classrooms -Support planning for a variety of student events Collaborate to provide Systemic Support of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment -Collaborate with district and site staff, principals, families, and students -Support textbook adoption processes -Manage the district repository for best practices -Monitor and provide implementation data to guide efforts Participate and support community/family/parent communication -Support Parent University and Diverse Conversations

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities could qualify someone for this position. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be: -Equivalent to a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in education, education administration, social work or a related field. -Administrative experience in K-12 setting preferred, managing programs, supervising staff, collaborating with community and business partners, providing oversight of health and safety, and aligning resources and services in education settings. -Valid California Administrative Services Credential issued by the State of California preferred. -Has a cleared teaching credential and at least five years of teaching experience in a TK-12 setting. -A valid California Driver’s License.
