Job Summary
Under the immediate direction of the Superintendent and/or designee, works with students in the instructional setting to assist with the delivery of the curriculum and to facilitate learning. May assist students with special needs. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
Paraprofessional Exam Certification Certification. Maintain CPR and first aid certification. Knowledge of and ability to utilize variety of methods, procedures, and equipment commonly used in pediatric nursingand specialized health care. Knowledge of crisis management techniques; ability to react effectively in emergency situations; knowledge of communityemergency medical resources. Ability to work with staff and students in a cooperative style; respect confidential matters; work effectively with large andsmall groups of children; work with children with special needs; communicate clearly in written and oral form; operate general office equipment.
