Job Summary
Performs teacher responsibilities for Esthetician, Cosmetology, and Barbering courses. Teacher may be assigned class sections in skin care, hair care, and barbering. A strong skin care background is desirable. Teacher may be assigned shifts to oversee students working in The Salon at Simi Institute. Work hours are Monday-Thursday 12:30-4:00 PM 5:30- 9:00PM, & Saturdays 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
Requirements / Qualifications
> Current California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential: Public Services OR > Current California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education Teaching Credential: Fashion & Interior Design > A strong skin care background is desirable The following items must be submitted to Personnel Services prior to the due date in order to complete the application process: > Completed Simi Institute application form (click here for downloadable form) > Personal letter of application giving reasons for being interested in this position > Current resume > 3-5 current letters of recommendation > Copies of appropriate licenses and/or credentials
