Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE: • Any combination equivalent to: Graduation from high school and two years’ experience in community service programs or related areas. • Knowledge of procedures, methods, techniques, and strategies utilized in dealing with sensitive school and community problems, issues and concerns. • Knowledge of correct oral and written usage of English and Spanish. • Knowledge of record-keeping techniques and Microsoft Office software. • Knowledge of school policies and procedures. • Ability to provide information regarding school or District programs, procedures,activities, rules and regulations. • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, students, parents and community members. • Ability to meet schedules and time lines. • Ability to work confidentially with discretion. • Ability to provide translations or interpretation services for limited and non-English speaking parents.
