IvyTech is looking for an individual who is qualified to work as the school’s counselor. Under the immediate direction of the principal: Develop individualized graduation and academic progression plans; Provide informational services to students and parents that will assist them in making appropriate decisions relative to their social, emotional, and academic progress; Work collaboratively with administrators and teachers in administering and interpreting state-mandated tests and program assessments; Implement SEL curriculum and supports for the advisory programs; Monitor student progress in Dual Enrollment and CTE programs; Option to teach class in credentialed subject area, or elective.
