RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, the Director, State and Federal Programs will provide technical, specialized, consultative, advisory, and planning services in specified programs and serviceareasrelated to federal and state education programs. This involves participating in the development of strategicoperationalplans and program activities; serving as a resource to schools, and community members in the implementationof federaland state education programs. Including providing technical assistance in state and federal parental involvement requirements; ESSA Title I school-wide plans and programs; federal equitable services requirements for private schools; school site councils and advisory committees, and federal and state fiscal requirements. The position also involves conducting specialized training; monitoring federal and state legislation and providing interpretation and guidance based on legislative regulations.
