Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent or designee, the TOSA (Literacy Specialist and EL Services Coordinator) is responsible for diagnosing student reading strengths and deficits, planning, and providing intensive reading supports using explicit, systematic, and multisensory interventions, and monitoring interventions for effectiveness. The TOSA (Literacy Specialist and EL Services Coordinator) in collaboration with the Learning Director implements the English Learner Roadmap and monitors the school’s English Learner master plan.

Must hold a valid Multiple Subject Teaching Credential Submit the documents listed below to your on-line EDJOIN application. If you have not taught in California (new to the profession), please include a letter from your university program supervisor, master teacher, or practicum supervisor. Comments and Other Information LBSD offers an Induction Program at no cost. *To obtain a copy of your credential: Commission on Teacher Credentialing link listed below - At secured search enter birthdate and social security number. All documents and credentials will be listed.
