We are seeking qualified individuals to serve as classified substitutes across various departments in our school district. Responsibilities will vary depending on the specific role and may include administrative support, custodial duties, instructional assistance, food service, or other non-teaching positions. Classified substitutes play a vital role in maintaining daily operations and ensuring a smooth school environment when regular staff members are absent. Flexibility, reliability, and effective communication skills are essential for success in this role.

CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTE SALARY SCHEDULE
Effective July 1, 2024, substitute classified employees who serve in positions listed below shall be compensated as follows:
Range 12 - $17.76/hr - Yard Duty Aide, Paraprofessional - General, AVID Tutor & CNW I
Range 13 - $18.33/hr - Paraprofessional – Adapted Physical Education, Physical Education & TK
Range 14 - $19.03/hr - Campus Monitor, CNW II, Paraprofessional – Special Ed & EL Support
Range 15 - $19.74/hr - Clerk, Testing Clerk, Paraprofessional – Special Ed II & Maintenance Helper
Range 16 - $20.48/hr - Intermediate Clerk, Bilingual Liaison Clerk & Custodian
Range 17 - $21.24/hr - District Office Receptionist, Sr. Clerk, Lib/Media Tech, & Sr. Library Tech
Range 18 - $22.06/hr - Groundskeeper, & Health Assistant
Range 19 - $22.89/hr - Secretary, Registrar & Child Nutrition Delivery Driver
Range 20 - $23.66/hr - Maintenance Worker – General, & Senior Secretary
Range 21 - $24.56/hr - Warehouse Worker/Driver
Range 26 - $29.56/hr - Health Technician (w/ LVN License)
Substitute employees shall not be entitled to the district-paid medical group, life insurance, tax shelter or other similar benefits.
