Job Summary

To coordinate, organize and deliver health care services to students and staff of Direct Service School Districts and programs under the supervision of the Santa Barbara County Education Office.

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and Registered Nurse (RN license) with a CA School Nurse credential or willingness to pursue the School Nurse credential; CPR and First Aid Certificate. Experience and/or training appropriate to fulfill requirements of the position. Recent experiences as School Nurse preferred; Registered Nurse experience acceptable. This is an itinerant position covering Santa Barbara, the Santa Ynez Valley, Lompoc, and possibly Casmalia, requiring flexibility as the role may involve working from multiple locations each day, with a combination of travel and office work. This vacancy is based in Santa Maria with other support School Nurses, however base site may be re-evaluated based on nature of assignment.
