Job Summary
The successful candidate will perform duties related to a School Bus Driver and Aide. The School Bus Driver will transport students on scheduled routes and/or special excursions; enforce rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport; ensure school vehicles are in a safe operating condition; and supervise the conduct and safety of students during transport. The School Bus Driver will ensure proper maintenance on the bus is regularly conducted; keep the vehicle service records and reports up to date; and perform general care such as washing and cleaning and refueling of buses as needed. As an Aide for the school, the candidate will assist with student supervision, school safety oversight, student support, clerical duties, and perform other work as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Specific Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License, Passenger and "S" Endorsements, Evidence of Insurability, School Bus Driver’s Certificate, Medical Certificate, Criminal Justice Fingerprint Clearance, Drug Testing Clearance, and negative TB test results
