Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, K-12 Teaching and Learning or designee, facilitate and implement Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program activities; provide assigned instruction for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students; perform supervision of Transitional Kindergarten (TK) students.

Requirements / Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or equivalent. • Some experience working with children in a learning situation, and compliance with federal & state requirements. • Attendance in college or having completed courses within child/human development or related classes. Must have 48 units of college credit OR passage of District proficiency test; tentative testing date: April 2, 2025 @ 9am. LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Valid California Driver’s License or State/Federal Identification. Must meet Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) requirements - to meet requirement, applicants must possess a minimum of Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree or 48 semester units from college/university. Candidates that do not meet the 48 college units will be required to test prior to interviewing.
