Job Summary
Our ideal candidate will: •Prevent or stop students from engaging in unsafe activities according to established guidelines and notify the school site administration regarding how to resolve safety and security concerns. •Ensure the timely arrival/return of students to class before and after school, lunch, and break periods following established guidelines. •Report to the school site administrator unusual activity, suspicions of safety issues, safety hazards, altercations, and other incidents in a timely fashion •Assists with evacuation, fire, and lockdown drills to ensure the orderly movement of students from classrooms to designated meeting locations. •Complete proper documentation related to incident reports and misconduct reports •Patrol assigned areas of campus during assigned periods to ensure student compliance with established rules and guidelines, and maintain order and safety. •Build positive and professional relationships with students and leverage those relationships to establish and maintain productive and safe learning environments. •Exercise dignity and respect when interacting with students at all times
Requirements / Qualifications
You’ll need the following minimum requirements: •High School diploma or GED equivalent required •Previous experience in security preferred. •CPR and First Aid Certified
