Job Summary
Carden Hall is seeking a pre-K teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. Candidates must have a sincere and deep appreciation of working with children and the ability to challenge each child and focus on emphasizing the implementation of student-centered learning. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities: *Acts as a role model of professionalism in our Carden environment. *Supports the philosophy, policies, goals of the school. *Ensures all students’ health, safety, and welfare by assisting in their care, learning, supervision, and redirection in the classroom and playground. *Learns classroom routines and assists in the classroom as needed. *Holds in strict confidence all matters pertaining to school. *Adheres to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook and Employee Handbook.
Requirements / Qualifications
Completed (or enrolled in) a minimum of 12 qualified units in Early Childhood Education (ECE) to include the following courses to meet licensing requirements: *ECE Child, family, community *ECE Human Growth and Development *ECE Children’s Curriculum Course *ECE Elective OR a valid California Child Development Permit at Teacher level or above is required.
