Required Qualifications: Valid California APE Added Authorization, APE Specialist Credential, or APE Emphasis Credential Preferred requirements: Experience working with students who have movement challenges and complex communication needs Responsibilities include: Providing adapted physical education services to students (K-12) including assessment, evaluation, and consultation Collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team in developing and adapting core curriculum Participating in IEPs with school districts and other professionals, including preparing written reports and generating goals that align with common core standards Overseeing the development of staff
