OPENING DETAILS: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day Work Hours: TBD Salary Range: B (Schedule B - Classified Supervisor and Managers) BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Administrative Services, plan, coordinate and direct the District Food Service program, assuring cost effectiveness and compliance with District, State and Federal requirements regarding nutrition, sanitation, safety and record-keeping; visit all school sites on a regular basis to observe, review, monitor and direct each operation. Supervise and evaluate Food Service personnel. Ensure that food and supplies are ordered, received, stored and distributed to cafeterias in a timely, efficient and economical manner.
