2 OPEN positions. 1 position @ Rheem Elementary and 1 position @ Los Perales Elementary. Salary is per placement on the Certificated Salary Schedule. Full credit for years of public K-12 experience given. Under the direction of the Principal and/or the Director of Pupil Services, provide case management and specialized academic instruction to students ages 3-5 to ensure kindergarten readiness.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the principal, serve as a classroom teacher planning, delivering and assessing instructional lessons aligned with the California common core standards-based curriculum for transitional TEACHING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: •Engaging and supporting all students in learning.
•Creating and maintaining effective environments for student learning.
•Understanding and organizing subject matter for student learning.
•Planning instruction and designing learning experiences for all students.
•Assessing student learning.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Criminal justice fingerprint clearance and TB test clearance.
A valid California elementary or multiple subject teaching credential with CLAD certificate is required.
Successful experience working with 48-60 month old elementary/Kindergarten school students in
a self contained classroom. Knowledge of grade-level content and assessments. Ability to use an
electronic white board in an instructional setting.
Collaborating with colleagues, grade-level partners and supervisors.
Communicating with staff and administration regularly. Sharing plans, projects and information.
Participating in grade-level, staff, and planning meetings.
Building relationships with students, staff, parents and administration
Establishing and maintaining the support and confidence of the school, district and community.
Developing as a professional educator.
