Job Summary
Uncharted Shores Academy (USA) is seeking a highly motivated Kindergarten Teacher for our Onshore (daily school) Program, who will be responsible for developing and implementing lessons and activities that engage and motivate students to grow socially, emotionally and academically. This posting is for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful teacher will provide a safe and supportive learning environment, guide students to reach their full potential and work closely with USA students, parents and other staff members to further the mission of the school. Our school is located in northern California’s Del Norte County- on America’s Wild Rivers Coast, where the redwoods meet the sea. As Del Norte County’s only independent charter school, we offer local families a more personal and flexible educational alternative with daily and homeschool programs for students in the Tk-8th grade. Requirements / Qualifications
EdJoin Application Letter of Introduction Resume Letter(s) of Recommendation (Two Required)
Multiple Subject Teaching Credential - General Subjects (Credential + CLAD or equivalent ESL certification); OR Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (or a related field), passed multiple-subject CSET exam and enrollment (or ability to enroll) as a teaching intern in a California Teacher Preparation program such as Cal State Teach.)
