Rancho Buena Vista (RBV) High School seeks to identify qualified candidates for the Head Varsity Boys/Girls Wrestling Coach position, November-February. The successful applicant will coordinate all aspects of a student-athlete in the boys/girls wrestling program. RBV has a well-established reputation for excellence in Boys/girls wrestling, and candidates must demonstrate the ability to maintain this tradition.
Boys Wrestling:
League Champs - 2001 ,2011, 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2023, 2024
CIF Champs - 2013
Girls Wresting:
League Champs - 2015, 2016
The ideal candidate should have at least three years of experience coaching high school or college wrestling. The successful candidate must also commit to the development of the character of our student-athletes. Effective communication strategies, organizational skills, and an awareness of safety and supervision concerns are essential qualities for this position. The coach should also prioritize community involvement within program activities.
The successful candidate must work collaboratively with fellow coaches, staff, parents, and community members while maintaining a professional demeanor.
In summary, the Head Varsity Boys/Girls Wrestling Coach at RBV High School should have a proven track record of success in coaching, a commitment to the growth and development of student-athletes, and an aptitude for upholding the highest standards of sportsmanship and professionalism.
Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the first week of March; a second interview will follow
Please note: this is a "Stipend" position, no teaching assignment is attached.
