ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Provides demonstrations on lessons incorporating arts enrichment into the preschool curriculum and from the California Preschool/Transitional Kindergarten Learning Foundations (CA PTKLF), Visual and Performance Arts domain; • Develops and distributes classroom resources to promote arts integration; • Travels to various locations regularly to assist staff with arts-based instructional strategies to enhance student achievement; • Provides guidance and strategies on arts enrichment for teachers, staff, and parents; • Develops and maintains effective relationships with school staff; • Recommends strategies to meet the diverse needs of all students; • Maintains data to monitor achievement trends and program effectiveness; • Perform other related duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Possession of a valid California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit or higher; • Minimum of three (3) years of experience teaching in a preschool or infant/toddler classroom setting; • Valid Driver’s License for California and use of personal transportation required.
