The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Reprographics Technician to join our team. This role is essential in producing high-quality printed materials that support OCDE’s educational and administrative objectives. If you have expertise in digital printing, finishing, and bindery operations, and thrive in a fast-paced production environment, we encourage you to apply! Under general supervision, the Reprographics Technician operates high-speed digital printing, copying, finishing, and binding equipment to complete print production assignments. This position is responsible for setting up, programming, and preparing files for print production while ensuring that all materials meet OCDE’s quality, cost, and time standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of graphics, page layout, and industry-standard software to prepare materials for print.
Requirements / Qualifications
Education, Training, and Experience: A typical way of obtaining the knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined above is graduation from high school or high school equivalency test, and two years of progressively responsible experience operating advanced digital printing and reprographics equipment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Licenses; Certificates; Special Requirements: A valid California driver's license and the ability to maintain insurability under OCDE's vehicle insurance policy may be required for certain assignments.
